Popular Yoruba movie actor Olanrewaju James, widely known as Baba Ijesha, and fashion entrepreneur Abiodun Tokunbo are celebrating the arrival of their baby boy.
The actor announced the birth of the child on social media on Monday, expressing gratitude to God for what he described as a special blessing. He also revealed that the newborn has been named King Kagar.
Sharing his excitement with fans and well-wishers, Baba Ijesha said the birth of his son marked a significant moment for his family, thanking God for a safe delivery and the child’s good health.

The announcement caught many followers by surprise, as the actor and the Chief Executive Officer of Luminee Couture had never publicly revealed details of their relationship before now. The development quickly sparked reactions online, with some social media users initially wondering whether the post was related to a movie project or comedy skit.
However, filmmaker and actor Yomi Fabiyi appeared to confirm the news after congratulating the couple in a social media post. He described the birth as a joyful milestone and joined other supporters in celebrating the new addition to their family.
In a separate message, Abiodun Tokunbo described the newborn as a long-awaited blessing. She thanked God for the successful delivery and prayed for divine guidance, protection and favour upon the child’s life.

The birth announcement has also generated renewed public interest in Baba Ijesha’s personal life, as little was previously known about his relationship with the fashion entrepreneur.
The actor, who regained his freedom in late 2025 after completing his prison sentence, has gradually returned to public life through interviews, social media activities and public appearances.

The arrival of the baby boy represents one of the most notable personal milestones Baba Ijesha has shared with the public since his release, marking what many supporters describe as a fresh chapter in his life.
