Popular Kano-based musician and staunch supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dauda Kahutu Rarara, has stated that the current administration has made life easier for many Nigerians, pointing to a significant drop in the price of rice as evidence of improving economic conditions.

Speaking during a recent public appearance, Rarara argued that while Nigerians faced severe economic challenges in the early stages of the administration, recent developments indicate that government policies are beginning to yield positive results.

According to him, a bag of rice that previously sold for as much as ₦100,000 can now be purchased for around ₦60,000 in some markets.

Rarara maintained that the reduction in food prices demonstrates that President Tinubu’s economic reforms are gradually taking effect, despite criticisms from opposition figures and some members of the public.

The singer urged Nigerians to remain patient with the administration, insisting that meaningful reforms often require time before their benefits become visible.
